The GL320 4G LTE Micro Magnetic GPS Tracker is the latest GPS Tracker that offers 4G Tracking. The small Micro Tracker is a powerful GPS Tracker designed for personal, vehicle, as well as asset tracking. The battery is built to last up to 2 weeks on a single charge and is rechargeable. Some GPS Trackers run off the 2G or 3G network, which is slowly being phased out and replaced with upgraded towers such as 4G towers. This latest GPS technology takes advantage of this by providing more accurate tracking and less signal interference using 4G tracking. The 4G LTE Tracker will prevent GPS devices from losing signal often and runs on both satellite and cellular.

Included with the GPS Tracker is the black magnetic weatherproof case. Small and durable. ### Installation & Setup

#### Overview

The GL320MG is a powerful, multi-purpose 4G LTE GPS tracker designed for real-time asset, vehicle, and personal security tracking. This water-resistant device features built-in smart power management and motion detection to keep your valuable assets protected. Follow this straightforward guide to get your tracker up and running in minutes.

#### Step 1: Charge Your Tracker

Before deployment, ensure your tracker is fully charged to maximize its performance.

- **Connect the Charger:** Lift the protective rubber cap on the side of the tracker to reveal the USB Type-C interface. Plug in the provided charging cable and connect it to a standard 5V DC power adapter.
- **LED Indicator Status:** During charging, the **Power (PWR) LED** will flash rapidly.
- **Full Charge:** Once the internal 2600 mAh battery is completely charged (approximately 3.5 hours), the PWR LED will remain steadily illuminated.
- **Important Note:** Always push the rubber port cover back in tightly after charging. This seal is required to maintain the tracker's IPX5 water resistance.

#### Step 2: SIM Card Insertion & Activation

Your tracker requires a compatible cellular SIM card to transmit its GPS location coordinates to the cloud platform.

1. **Remove the Cover:** Use a small screwdriver to remove the protective SIM card slot cover.
2. **Insert the SIM:** Slide your active cellular SIM card into the designated slot following the directional diagram on the device.
3. **Secure the Slot:** Screw the SIM card slot cover back on securely to keep the internal components watertight.
4. **Register Your Device:** Log into your tracking application or platform. Add a new device and input your tracker's unique **IMEI number** (found on the label on the back of the device).
5. **Network Configuration:** Set up your provider's Access Point Name (APN) and your designated server backend registration details via SMS or configuration tool as provided by your network subscription service.

#### Step 3: Powering On & Understanding LEDs

- **Power On:** Press and hold the recessed power button firmly for 3 to 5 seconds. Release the button once the LED lights start flashing.
- **Understanding Status Lights:**

**- Power LED (Red):** Flashes slowly during normal operation when the battery is functional. A very rapid flash indicates low battery status. **- GPS LED (Blue):** Flashes while searching for satellite coordinates. It becomes solid or stops flashing rapidly once a secure GPS fix is acquired. **- Cellular LED (Green):** Flashes quickly while searching for a mobile network, and slows down to a steady, rhythmic pulse once connected to a 4G LTE Cat M1/NB2 network.

- **Power Off:** When the device is not connected to a charger, press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until the power light flashes rapidly, indicating it is shutting down. All lights will turn off after 10 to 20 seconds.

#### Step 4: Mounting & Placement Tips

Because the tracker depends on cellular and satellite signals, proper positioning is critical for accurate tracking

- **Clear Line of Sight:** For the best performance, place the tracker where it has an unobstructed path to the open sky.
- **Avoid Metal Barriers:** Do not enclose the tracker deep inside a solid metal container or structural chassis beam, as metal heavily degrades GPS and cellular signals. Storing it inside fabric bags, plastic sleeves, or under fiberglass panels is perfectly fine.
- **Magnetic Mounting (Optional):** If your unit is paired with an external magnetic case, you can instantly attach it to any iron or steel surface (such as underneath a vehicle or asset frame) within a single second.
- **SOS Panic Button:** Ensure the large, thumb-sized front function button remains accessible if the tracker is being carried by a lone worker, elderly family member, or child for emergency alerts.
