Step 1: Charge the Pen

1. Gently twist the middle of the pen counterclockwise to unscrew the barrel.
2. Locate the hidden USB port inside the top half of the pen.
3. Plug the included USB cable into the pen, and connect the other end to a standard USB wall charger or computer port.
4. Indicator Light: A steady red light means it is charging. The light will turn solid blue or turn off when fully charged (approx. 2 hours).

Step 2: Set the Date & Time Stamp

(Ensure the memory card is inserted into the pen before plugging it into your computer)

1. Connect the unscrewed top half of the pen directly to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Open "My Computer" (Windows) or "Finder" (Mac) and click on the external drive (usually named NO NAME or USB DRIVE).
3. Open the text file named "time.txt" or "settime.txt" in the main folder.
4. Update the text inside to reflect the current date and time using the format shown in the document (usually YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS).
5. Save the file and safely eject the pen from your computer. The pen will automatically update its internal clock on its next boot.

Step 3: How to Use (One-Button Operation)

• Power On: Press and hold the top button for 2 seconds. The indicator light will flash blue, then stay solid, entering Standby Mode.
• Start Recording Video: From Standby Mode, click the top button once. The light will flash 3 times and turn completely off. The pen is now recording video.
• Stop Recording Video: Click the top button once. The light will turn back on and stay solid. Your video is safely saved.
• Power Off: Press and hold the top button for 3 to 4 seconds until the indicator light turns completely off.

Step 4: Watch Your Videos

1. Ensure the pen is powered off.
2. Plug the top half of the pen into your computer using the USB cable. (Alternatively, use the included mini screwdriver to remove the MicroSD card and plug it into the USB card reader).
3. Open the removable drive on your computer.
4. Open the "VIDEO" folder to view, copy, or delete your recorded files.
5. Tip: For the smoothest video playback, we recommend using the free VLC Media Player.
