Before You Start

Have a compatible iPhone signed in to your Apple ID, with Bluetooth enabled and access to the Find My app. Keep the tracker close to your phone during setup.

Installation & Setup

1. Activate the tracker: Follow the supplied user manual to turn on the C Tag and prepare it for pairing. Remove any battery isolation tab if present.
2. Open Find My: On your iPhone, open the Find My app and select the Items tab. Tap Add Item and follow the on-screen instructions to add the tracker.
3. Name your item: Choose a recognizable name, such as Keys, Backpack, or Luggage, and complete the prompts to link the tracker to your Apple ID.
4. Test the connection: Select the tracker in Find My and use Play Sound while it is nearby and connected. Confirm that you can hear it before placing it with your belongings.
5. Secure it to your belongings: Place the tracker inside a secure bag pocket or use a suitable attachment compatible with its design. The C Tag is not magnetic and will not attach directly to metal surfaces. Check that it cannot fall out or come loose.
6. Set your preferences: Check the item's reported location in Find My and enable Notify When Left Behind if available for your device and settings.

Battery Replacement

Use the replacement coin battery type specified in the user manual. Follow the manual to open the battery compartment, install the battery with the correct polarity, and close the casing securely. Keep coin batteries away from children and pets.
