How to Install Your Spy Spot Decals

Ensure a long-lasting, professional look by following these simple installation steps for your Spy Spot Flag Stickers and Vehicle Bumper Stickers.

1. Vinyl Sticker Installation Guide

Follow these steps to apply your self-adhesive vinyl decals directly to any smooth surface (glass, metal, or plastic):

• Step 1: Clean the Surface
Locate the included alcohol prep pad in your package. Wipe the application area thoroughly to remove all dirt, grease, wax, and dust. Let the surface dry completely before proceeding.
• Step 2: Align Your Decal
Before peeling off the backing, hold the 4" x 2.5" sticker against the surface to plan your exact placement.
• Step 3: Peel and Apply
Carefully peel the paper backing away from the sticker to expose the self-adhesive layer. Starting from one edge, press the sticker firmly onto the clean surface.
• Step 4: Smooth It Out
Use your fingers or a flat plastic card (like a credit card) to smooth out any air bubbles, working from the center outward to the edges.
• Step 5: Remove the Front Protective Film
Locate the clear protective layer on the front face of the sticker. Carefully peel this layer off to reveal the durable, high-visibility finish of your flag decal.

2. Care & Maintenance Tips

• Weatherproof Performance: Your stickers and magnets are fully waterproof, UV-resistant, and heat-resistant to prevent fading or weathering under heavy sunlight or rain.
• Car Wash Warning: If you are using the bumper magnet setup, always remove the magnet before entering an automatic car wash to prevent it from being dislodged by heavy brushes.
• Adhesive Sticker Removal: To remove a permanently applied sticker, gently warm it with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive bond, then peel it back slowly. Wipe away any remaining residue with rubbing alcohol.
