Step 1 - Charge the Camera

1. Connect the included DC charging adapter to the camera and plug into a wall outlet.
2. Charge fully before first use to ensure maximum battery life (up to 10 hours of continuous recording).
3. For permanent installation, leave the camera plugged into the DC adapter for continuous 24/7 operation.

Step 2 - Insert a MicroSD Card

1. Insert a microSD card (Class 10 recommended, up to 256GB) into the card slot on the camera.
2. If prompted, format the card via the Zetta Widget software or directly on the device (this erases existing data on the card).

Step 3 - Place & Position the Camera

1. Position the camera with a clear, unobstructed view of the area you want to monitor.
2. The compact, discreet design allows placement on shelves, desks, or inside everyday objects.
3. Ensure the lens is aimed at the target zone and not blocked by objects.

Step 4 - Select a Recording Mode

Use the mode switch on the device to select your preferred recording mode:

• Motion Activated - records only when movement is detected. Ideal for unattended monitoring.
• Sound Activated - triggers recording on voice or noise. Great for audio-sensitive environments.
• Continuous Recording - runs nonstop until storage is full.
• Vehicle Mode - optimized for in-car recording scenarios.
• Cycled Recording - automatically overwrites the oldest footage when storage is full, so recording never stops.

Step 5 - Set Day/Night Mode & Timestamp

• Switch between Day and Night recording profiles on the device to optimize image quality for your lighting conditions.
• The built-in timestamp automatically embeds the date and time on all recordings - ensure the time is set correctly (see Step 6).

Step 6 - Customize Settings with Zetta Widget (Optional)

1. Download the free Zetta Widget software on your Windows or Mac computer.
2. Connect the Z15 to your computer via USB.
3. Use the software to adjust video resolution, motion sensitivity, sound sensitivity, day/night mode settings, and set the correct date and time for accurate timestamps.

Step 7 - Access & Review Footage

1. Power off the camera and remove the microSD card.
2. Insert the card into a card reader connected to your computer to access recordings.
3. Alternatively, connect the camera directly to your computer via USB to transfer files.
