When You Need Functionality Without a Hitch

I was in a quandary when I was preparing to upgrade to a device that needs to access the OBD port in my vehicle, that was already occupied. I went ahead and ordered this particular cable as it already had mounting plates attached that would allow the additional ports to be mounted where I pleased.The lengths of each are perfect; one is about one inch shorter than the other allowing me to mount in a verticle side-by-side position along the left side of the driver's compartment.I spend some time before the mounting process examining the area and the under dash area where I wanted to mount. With newer vehicles, some may have knee airbags and not even know it. Mine does, and I was not also aware until I saw the warning about an airbag being present in the vicinity.After ensuring I was not mounting the extra OBD ports into a sensitive area, I proceeded to with the mount, and all went well. I did use my zip ties that I already had to ensure that the cables were securely out of the way and that the origination plug would not drop out of the OBD which has a vertical mounting.I checked both additional ports and found them fully functional. I then proceeded to place the device that I had in the OBD port initially and it powered up without a hitch.

This Product is working as advertised! I have an attached GPS tracker to one end and secured the other end to vehicle bracket so that the OBD2 port would be available to auto technicians. A techician used the open port and his readings were unafected by the GPS tracker device. The thing I now need is some 8 inch length velcro to secure the Tracker which is located behind the kick panel in truck which is a 2005 Avalanche.
